Who We Are
Petro Z Limited is a Zambian-registered compliance and product integrity company specializing in fuel marking, authentication, and traceability solutions. Our work safeguards national revenue, protects consumers, and ensures that only legally compliant fuels circulate in the market.
Since 2016, we have partnered with government institutions, enforcement agencies, and global technology providers to combat fuel adulteration, smuggling, and tax leakage across the supply chain.
In 2023, Petro Z commenced national operations as the sole service provider for the Fuel Marking Program regulated by the Energy Regulation Board (ERB). We are certified and compliant with ERB, ZRA, ZABS, and ZEMA regulations.

Our Journey
2016
Founded Petro Z Limited to provide secure fuel marking and compliance solutions in Zambia.
2017
Expanded the team and developed proprietary fuel marking technology to enhance traceability and security.
2019
Partnered with major fuel distributors to pilot compliance programs and train personnel nationwide.
2021
Introduced advanced authentication solutions and expanded services to new provinces, reducing fuel fraud significantly.
2023
Commenced official operations as the sole service provider for the National Fuel Marking Program under ERB.
